Pinnacle Codes is an NJ-based engineering studio. We design, build, and run custom software for small and mid-sized businesses. No army of juniors, no offshore handoff, no agency theatre. The people who scope your project are the same people who write the code that ships.
Why we exist
Most SMEs deserve better than what they get sold.
Big shops can't economically take on a $40k internal-tool project. Freelancers vanish when something hard appears. Generic agencies sell you a templated WordPress site that costs ten times what it should and ages like milk.
We sit in the middle: senior engineers who treat a $25k project with the same craft a $500k project would get at a Fortune-500 consultancy. Same architecture standards. Same ownership. Same person picking up the phone six months in.
We are based in Kenilworth, New Jersey. We work mostly with US businesses, mostly in the Northeast, and we pick projects we can actually finish well.

AI is a tool, not a strategy.
A retrieval-augmented chatbot is not going to fix a broken sales process. Get the workflow right first, then layer AI where it pays. Anything else is theatre.

Mobile-first means responsive-first.
Sixty to seventy percent of your traffic is on a phone. If your site loads slowly or scrolls weird on a five-inch screen, the business case for the site is broken.

SEO is built in, not bolted on.
Semantic markup, fast Core Web Vitals, clean information architecture. The boring stuff that Google rewards. We do all of it as part of the build, never as an add-on later.

Plain English wins.
If we cannot explain what we're building in two sentences a non-engineer can repeat back, the scope is wrong. We rewrite scope documents until they pass that test.
Where we are
Based in Kenilworth, NJ. Working with US companies coast to coast.
Our office is in Kenilworth, twenty minutes west of Newark Airport. We meet most clients on video calls, but for projects in the Northeast we are happy to come on site for kickoff or a quarterly check-in. We are a subsidiary of Smart Technology Plus, LLC.
